Living Volumes is a multidisciplinary practice where architecture, interiors and development advisory meet a single obsession — timelessness.
Living Volumes was founded by Ar. Gagan Kumar and Ar. Shivadharshana with a simple conviction — that every site has a story, and the architect's first job is to listen. What began as a design studio has grown into a multidisciplinary practice spanning architecture, interiors, conservation and development advisory.
Today the studio works across residences, hospitality, commercial and heritage projects in 8+ cities — each one approached as a long-term investment in design, functionality and human experience.

To create meaningful, sustainable and timeless spaces that elevate everyday life — delivered with honesty, craft and precision.
To be recognised as a design practice whose work belongs so naturally to its context that it feels inevitable.
Context before form · Sustainability by design · Craft over excess · Timeless over trendy · Human-centered always.

With a vision to create contextual and timeless architecture, Ar. Gagan leads the studio with passion, precision and purpose — guiding every project from first sketch to final handover.

Ar. Shivadharshana brings creativity, technical expertise and thoughtful leadership to every project — with a special focus on materials, detail and interior experience.
We deliberately keep project teams small so principals stay involved at every stage. Site visits are sacred, materials are touched before they are specified, and no drawing leaves the studio without a second pair of eyes.
The studio invests in research and documentation — because preserving knowledge is as important as creating it.
